Description
Steareth-21 is a waxy solid material that acts as an effective emulsifier, helping oil and water blend evenly in cosmetic products. It is very similar to Steareth-20, but features a slightly higher degree of ethoxylation, which gives it increased water solubility. This property makes it particularly useful in various formulations. Steareth-21 works exceptionally well when combined with primarily oil-soluble emulsifiers, such as Steareth-2, and together they can form extremely stable emulsions, ensuring product uniformity and a pleasant texture.
Additional information
- Steareth-21 is valued for its ability to create stable oil-in-water emulsions, contributing to a smooth product texture.
- It is a non-ionic surfactant, making it compatible with a wide range of other cosmetic ingredients.
